NOTE ON LOW WRITE SPEEDS
I noticed that after a hard reset (black screen from overclocking), this drive would not write at full speeds (CrystalDiskMark Seq. Write 640 MB/s). I believe this was due to Windows 10 disabling write caching on the drive. Here is how I corrected the problem.
Open: Device Manager> Disk Drives> SPCC M.2 PCIe SSD> SPCC M.2 PCIe SSD Properties> Policies
In Policies, toggle both boxes "Enable write caching on the device", and "Turn off Windows write-cache buffer flushing on the device" (toggle a few times). MAKE SURE BOTH BOXES ARE CHECKED and click "OK". Keep Device Manager open and run your benchmark to see if write speeds are back to spec.
If everything is good, go back into: SPCC M.2 PCIe SSD Properties> Policies
UNCHECK BOX "Turn off Windows write-cache buffer flushing on the device" (so as to not have a power outage corrupt Windows). Click "OK".
Run your bench again to see if drive is still up to spec.
Good luck on your mission, Jim. :)

- Decent R/W speeds while it worked.
- Installed first one at the same time as the new RAM, second one as soon as the return completed. The second one lasted noticeably longer than the first, but still showed odd hangs during R/W. Both failed within the hour. (RAM works great)
Granted it's all anecdotal, but a Silicon Power flash drive was also the worst experience I've had with removable media. I might be turned off this brand until quality improves.
