750 Watts of Awesomeness

750 watts, I don't have a 8800GTX SLI setup, but I do have an 8800GTS and it runs great (will go SLI when I get the money). It is certified for SLI on them, and it should work great. I get no errors or startup problems with this because it has so much power. My old one would do random restarts (550watts) but this is rock solid. Modular cabling is great and saves a lot of spaace. Oh, and by the way this thing runs very quiet and moves a decent amount of air so it runs cool too.

I also had the same problem with installing it into an Armor case. It took me a couple minutes to get it in, but after I figured it out then it wasn't too hard to get it in. Just remove all the modular cables and it goes in a LOT easier.

Even though it may be a little tricky to install, it's a great PSU. I'm running 3 sata HDDS, 8800gts, 3800x2 (939), 2gigs of ram, dvd drive, floppy, 4 fans, and cold cathode lighting. This thing runs without a hitch.

TOP CRITICAL REVIEW
If this fails, don't count on support

Worked fine for 2 years, 364 days, and 12 hours.

The 13th hour is what kills ya! Immediately after it failed I ran all the tests I could in order to determine it was a faulty power supply. Once I had it pin-pointed I sent in an RMA request to their technical department. Through conversation over the next day (after warranty period at this point) technical support said to submit to RMA department. When I did submit the request to the RMA department they said it was after the warranty period EVENTHOUGH I had e-mailed technical support requesting RMA approval. MOST companies require you to contact tech support for an RMA approval number. Why is Silverstone any different?

End of story: Never purchasing from them again because I know in my heart that they will find some excuse to avoid supporting their product. This was a $200 PSU at time of purchase
