great power....gigabyte M59SLI-S5 mobo, amd 5200+ 2.6Ghz clocked to 2.85Ghz @ 1.4V, 8800 GTS not clocked yet and kept but played with ntune and didnot get unstable and crash until 3750Mhz ...that was a 50% OC as it started at 2500 Mhz. 4G corsair xms 6400C4 set factory OC recommend 2.1V vs 1.8 JEDEC default. Fans = 3-120mm, 2-90mm, thermaltake TMG A1 cpu cooler, 1 Tt memory cooler, 2 X 250G raid 0, DVD, FDD. all running VERY stable. as for those getting power error msg with the 8800GTX see if your mobo has a 4 pin molex connector tagged for PCIe 12V, mine does and it would probably solve your problem, that what it's there for.

none...ya know some people really should check things out ..in reply to NOT THRILLED...case in point from your test...ALL of those 12 volt reading are WELL WITHIN +12V range..12 volt DOES NOT mean that it will supply 12 volts at all times...check manufac spec MOST ALL specs for +12v is 12V + or - up to 5% in the case of this particular PS the spec is 12V +5/-4 which means the PS will supply power on the 12 volt rail within -4% to +5% of 12V which equals 11.52 - 12.60 volts and that is the operating range of the +12V rail so your disappointment with 11.71V is really not valid,

11.84V on the 4 pin at IDLE is actually pretty much EXACTLY where it should be, try testing at FULL LOAD and i'll bet you see that 11.84 jump to something like 12.25 (point is, the item and PS will only use/supply what is NEEDED, if it doesn't need 12+ volts to idle then it won't take them) another thing to consider here is if your that concerned with it dropping to 11.71 THEN STAY AWAY FROM MODULAR CABLING, modular cabling creates 1 more connection in the power scheme which INCREASES resistence and therfore will leave wide open the possibility of a +12V rail dropping to its low in range as well as make it harder to deliver it's max range voltage, ANY modular cabling PS will have the same problem. then again if PS did infact supply 12 volts at all times (impossible cuz power fluxuates regardless!!) people would groan cuz the power bill went up a little, so look at it this way over the course of a year that 11.84 vs 12v will save a few bucks on your power bill.

Not Enough Power

Modular Cables, 850W Rating

Will not power my single 8800GTX, I keep getting errors just like the other reviewers.

I would hold off on this product, 2 other reviewers had the exact same problem as me, i'm running to the store to pick up a replacement as soon as I post this. My 620w PSU before this one had no problems with the load.
