My Lenovo 17" laptop had slowed through the years to the point that it took almost 5 minutes to fully boot. I changed out the 1TB 2.5" HD Seagate HD for this SSD. The laptop now boots in less than 30 seconds. The SSD worked so well that I doubled the memory from 8GB to 16GB. Now this old beast runs like a new one. I couldn't be happier.
Still has SM2259XT and TLC as expected without any component swaps and performs as expected.
The location of the power and SATA port is offset by ~1mm from the standard position so it doesn't fit in enclosures/bays that don't have any wiggle room.
Good for storage if you don't need to use it in an enclosure or bay.
