-Faster than a traditional hard drive, obviously.
-M.2 interface.
-Inexpensive.
-Performs slightly better than advertised. I managed to achieve 530MBps read/440MBps write with this 256gb which is only advertised at 500/400. Pretty good for a SATA interface drive.
-Team Group's SSD software is atrocious. The data migration utility does not work at all and it is otherwise completely featureless and not useful at all.
Be warned: This drive does NOT have an onboard RAM cache. This will result in a lot more wear and tear on the drive. That combined with the mediocre 60TBW means that this drive is not for you if you plan to do heavy work loads. If simply using as an OS drive, I recommend moving your page file to another drive at minimum.
With similar, better NVMe drives being around this price you should look into those if possible. If, like me, you're limited by the compatibility of the PC you're working on then this is a good alternative for a decent price.

The SSD I got is just totally unusable. It appears to be able to handle normal speeds in spikes, and then freezes for 2-8 seconds, over and over, whether reading or writing. Somehow crystal disk mark makes it produce normal looking speeds. But when downloading games, copying files, or opening applications, it seems random whether it will work or be so extremely sluggish you would think the computer was just broken.
The "average response time" is nice and low (<5ms) during the spikes where it actually works. But at all other times it's just how long it's been since a spike, so usually between 1500-4000ms
