Thermaltake W0106RU 700 W Complies with ATX 12V 2.2 & EPS 12V version SLI Certified 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: I bought this in Febuary of 2007. 8 years later and this is still running strong. Im about to use it in a skylake build. Hope it works.

Cons: I cant think of any. It was pricey at the time I bought it, but look how long its lasted.

Pros: Absolutely none.

Cons: This power supply claims that it has modular cabling, but you have to use every plugin, even on a mid-tower case with only one hard drive and one optical drive, no SLI. This defeats the the purpose of modular cabling.

Upon initial installation, this power supply appeared to be working correctly. Voltages looked fine, system seemed stable, games were running flawlessly. In less than ONE week of use, I experienced my first random power-off/instant shutdown. I wasn't too concerned at first, but then the power supply started instantly turning off every other day, then every day, then every 5 minutes. It finally is to the point where the system will not POST. Swapped power supplies with an old 480w and surprise, system booted and ran all applications just fine!

Overall Review: RMA'd. I will never buy another Thermaltake PSU again; overpriced and unreliable. READ ALL REVIEWS, this is a common problem!
