Professional quality LCD

Good ergonomic design, very thin border edges, no ghosting, great color range. Mine had no detectable dead pixils.

Backlight shines through around the edges, only noticible when screen shows black (i.e., when showing a black background), but I think this is a common issue with all LCDs. Front menu select buttons kind of hard to press.

There are not a lot of reviews for this fine LCD monitor, so I thought I would add my own. This is Viewsonics Pro (VP) series, which is superior to their VX series. The VXs may list a faster millisecond speed, and that may well be true, but the VPs have a greater color range and the design of the VP920 is far more professional than any VX. The thin edgeline also makes these great for dual monitor setup, which is what I eventually plan to do.

Good at First Then...

Bright

It is 3 months old and is starting to go bad. It has white lines appearing across the top of the screen. When I received it their was a gray splotch in the middle about the size of an o in 12pt font. The base is flimsy, it ghosts and when I bought it Newegg said it was 4ms response time but now changed it to 8ms.

I should have bought the benQ 20.1" wide screen!

This monitor is the biggest waste of money I have ever spent... Idiot ups man threw the box on the ground when he thought I wasn't home then I walked out the door and gave him a few words. I can't believe people anymore, can't even have someone respect your property.
