ZALMAN CNPS10X FLEX CPU Cooler

Pros: it fits like a glove i have the zalman GS-1000 plus case i did not use the back plate that came with it i used the one that came with my asus m4a89td pro usb3 board. i have the 965 black edition at 4.00Ghz and it is 29 c at idle and 48-50 c under prime95 and 40c while gaming i have 2 fans on it 120mm running at 900rpm at idle and 1800 under full load i used the heat past that came with it

Cons: well as the others said the fans were a problem to get on and right but there is not much to con about here it is a great cooler and even though i have 9 fans in my case it is very quiet i love zalman products but there support is not that great and its hard to get parts and as usual new egg shipped it on time and packaged well @ a great price.

Overall Review: should have done a video review so you could see where its tight and where its not i love that feature in the reviews section thanks newegg.

Pros: Solid construction, great performance and bought it during a Shell Shocker sale!

Cons: Missing part (AMD sockets 754/939/940 clip)

Overall Review: For whatever reason Zalman does not include the clip that makes this heatsink compatible with AMD sockets 754/939/940, although they clearly state that it is compatible and their website even shows the clip as an included component.

It took me almost a month to get Zalman RMA to ship me the missing clip. A week after I contacted them they shipped me an AMD clip but unfortunately it was for sockets AM3/AM2+/AM2. I had to email them detailed pictures, and links to their website showing the clip. They seemed to be confused as to what AMD sockets 754/939/940 clip looked like.

But at the end of the day I got the part I needed and am happy with the product's quality and performance.

I'm giving the this product 5 eggs and 1 to Zalman for dropping the ball and not including the components they show and claim compatibility with.
