This is probably the best cooler that I have bought yet. It may be huge but it clearly does its job. Running an Ivy Bridge i7 3770K OC @ 4.3 Ghz. Idle temps are around 24-26 and 37-40 under heavy load. Used Artic Silver 5 with this bad boy.
Fins are pretty sharp. I cut myself several times during installation. Definitely wear gloves
On top of everything it is a beautifully designed heat-sink and the blue led complements the rest of the blue led theme going on in my case.

Keeps the q6600 cool. Quit as long as you install the manual fan controller it comes with. If you let your motherboard control it, get ready for some noise.
Unholy terror to install if you've never done it. you have to put a backplate on the motherboard and the instructions leave much to the imagination. Sharp fins. But you won't cut yourself installing it. It'll happen later when you least expect and you're pluggin in that last SATA cable. And it will cut.
