This is very well made. I do not have any reservations using outside for this application. Recommend this to anyone needing a coax line for use outdoors.

Good physical build. High quality chrome quarter inch jack. Unit is based on a CH340 chipset and yes, IT DOES USE A OPTO-ISOLATOR for the keying interface. No shared/unified grounds in this device. Resistance between grounds exceeds 80 Megaohms, the limit of my test equipment. Works great with my Icom IC-7600 and IC-7000 with Ham Radio Deluxe. When properly configured, I don't even need to start HRD, just start DM780 in CW mode and using the COM port configuration menu, set your radio to STRAIGHT KEY and I am able to use the CW modes the way the manufacturer intended, in CW mode! It does come with a software disc, but not needed with Windows 7 as driver is automatically installed upon insertion. Just look up which com port number was assigned by your PC and point DM780 to that numbered port and VIola! It works perfectly! Bye bye Signalink and their MCW modes, you will not regret this inexpensive purchase! I even bought two.

Had some dropouts and picture tearing on 4K TV. First suggestion was to upgrade cables. I did and this reduced the dropouts to nil.

I use this product to connect an over-the-air antenna in the attic to my tv. It works well. We have a nice, clear picture. It did what it said it was to do.

I used this product because my cables that Spectrum gave me to go from the wall to my TV were very short and I wanted to move my television. This world great!!! The picture and quality, everything is the same!! Love it!!
