Works with Cisco serial cable to access routers via console port. It's 6 feet long to better reach equipment, with female screw sockets to secure the two cables together. Easy installation in WinXP.

Works with everything I've tried.

This adapter was immediately recognized and installed by my Win7 x64 system, and I was able to communicate through the COM port successfully.

Well it's a cable, and it's for serial, not much else to say really. I am using this for programming a datalogger that would otherwise require me to go through an obstacle course of test equipment outdoors to get to. Has worked great after a month of constant outdoor use.

The adapter cable is great. It has everything integrated into the DB9 connector. I just plugged it in and went to work.

I stick data in one end and it comes out looking the same on the other end. These work fine
