If you've ever had to upgrade a hard drive then you know how inconvenient it is to connect a new hard drive to a computer some time yo have to temporarily install it in the desktop and for the laptop you need to buy a hard drive enclosure to work with the new hard drive drive in order to copy into it, this product eliminates all of these hassles, all you need to do is just drop one or two hard drives into this device and you now have an endless amount of options and no drivers needed, I can't say enough about this product except that the price and functionality are impressive, I just love it and you will too.

Just put your 3.5" hard drive in it and boom! It works fantastic.I put my 7200RPM Toshiba drive it it and I was able to take about ~125GB backup using this in less than an hour. You might think it is slow, yes, but that was because my source (media server) is not as fast.

Easily slides open incest m.2 card, it comes with tools to screws to mount. If u are in a bind you don't need to totally assemble for it to work! But for safety please mount! Made my old M.2 stick into a big memory stick, it is useful again!

My SSD fits snugly inside the enclosure. It is pretty fast. I got 451 MB/sec reads with a $16 SSD.

Well made. Easy to use. Fast. Some of these transparent enclosures are tricky to open and close but not this one. Very easy to open and close. Makes it easy to swa drives in and out. USB 3.1, Type C guarantees speed.

Super fast transfer speeds Good quality materials

Tested 2 bay enclosure that comes with everything you need including extra screws and screw drivers that are actually good quality and magnetic. Out of the box it's a 10 min installation to get it up and running. I'm using a mix 4TB Toshiba HDD and 10TB WD Red HDD. Tested with "large" switches toggled on enclosure. -inside enclosure drive to drive transfer speed sustained at 179mb+/second with large video files exceeding 100gb in size -port to port USB-C 3.2 across my PC from an SP A58 SSD 2TB to enclosure with same large video files was sustained and exceeded 210gb+/second I am extremely happy with this enclosure so far and will continue to test it with different RAID config. as well.
