In Laptop Internal Hard Drives

I received my hard drive very fast. I haven't installed it yet as I'm waiting on new memory to arrive & install memory & hard drive at the same time. It's a 500 gig so I should have more than enough space on drive.

Works as expected, no issue's with shipping and used it to clone an old HD to this HD and it worked flawlessly, honestly I'd have been surprised if it hadn't...

Large storage space in a small form factor. Quiet. Throughput is comparable to "high performance" laptop drives. I did not detect an noticeable speed issues with these drives compared to 7200 rpm "high performance" laptop drives used in the same system. Slightly lower power consumption relative to 7200 rpm "high performance" laptop drives, but still a good choice for NAS systems that are "always on". A good choice for NAS systems that can use smaller 2.5 inch laptop drives. NAS is my "use case".

Fair Price Exact Fit for HP Envy Laptop

This is a nice 1TB enterprise Seagate drive in a 2.5" form factor. I'm running this drive in a workstation. It came with a 5 year warranty. (Please note, this most likely will not fit in a laptop, if that is what you are seeking to do. It is much taller than a typical laptop drive.) So far, I'm very happy with it.,

Got 4 of these running on my compact Synology NAS. I replaced the 5000 gig drives for these and they owrk fine. Not a bad batch. Passed all S.M.A.R.T. tests with flying colors

Timely plannedemic shipping not withstanding from other than the egg. Waited a long time for this 'special'. This makes about #14 WD Raptor purchased. Except for an ssd there is probably no better on the market....still using a variety of 75-500gb WDs purchased over the past 20 years. Only two have ever failed. Read many reviews about how it could be used/refurbed. Well it may be 4/15 manufacture but arrived in OEM packing (ie plastic end caps, factory seal static bag). Looks puuurtee new to me.

Enterprise-class drive. Very fast 15K RPM, Average Latency 2ms, small form factor 2.5. These drives have fast read /write speeds with sustained transfer rates at 200 MB/s. Even the failure rate on these drives is very low. I'm a systems engineer for IT dept. at a large health benefits company. We use these drives in alot of our servers and they are highly reliable and are very fast. If you are serious about needing high performance and reliable data storage, then these are the drives for you.
