Not everyone will need or want one, there is a problem w/ the factory cpu bracket that can eventually cause some bending of the cpu. With the contact frame you don't have to worry about any bending, also fitting snug around the cpu the contact frame does help with cooling. It varies between people, cpus, boards, coolers, etc but using a contact frame you can expect your temps to be at least 5C cooler with some people seeing closer to a 10C reduction in temps. I really didn't do a lot of testing before/after installing, but my temps are comfortable.

This is a beautifully designed and executed product. I have built something like 50 PCs, going all the way back to DOS 5.0 and Windows 3.1 and have probably tossed out 2 or 3 of those PC cases because of a bad power button. This inexpensive power button replacement will save me plenty if/when one of my more expensive cases has power or reset button issues. The rear I/O bracket (including screw, nice touch) allowing the wire to pass through is also notched, so that the wire can be secured in the notch thereby relieving the F-Panel connections (including Reset connection) from any undo pressure. Again, I could not be more pleased with how well designed and executed this device is, and I will also consider installing it on PCs where it's difficult to reach the power on and reset buttons (e.g., PCs located under tables, behind desks, etc.).

Works with X11SRA-F for Windows 11.
