inexpensive, CPU duct, lots of space, no windows!!
Standard screw system for securing drives, which I like (A cheap quick release system is worse than useless.) Drive bay covers are securely latched. Unit comes packed in an oversize box with foam on the ends so UPS has to try really hard to damage it in shipping. Thumbscrews for panels.
Piano finish fingerprints and scratches very easily when cleaned, don't use a paper towel. No reset button. Card slot covers are not reusable, they snap off like the inner steel drive bay covers. It has a quick release system for cards that I don't trust so secure the cards well. Price dropped 10 bucks a few days after I ordered it...sigh.
Nice case overall. If you snap out all of the rear card slot covers, you will need to scrounge something to fill the slots, but if you've built a computer or 2 before, its not an issue cuz you have spares or you can leave some open for air. I wish the grill on the front opened so you can add and remove a fan filter.
BTW, peeps who complain about the duct not lining up should know, that its made to an Intel spec., Not AMD. Its hit and miss (mostly miss) as to whether it will line up with an AMD socket. AM2, 2+ and 3 will not line up.
If you don't install a massive HS like a coolermaster212+ you can add an 80MM exhaust fan there
It's cheap. Well it didn't cost much.
Head phone jack never worked out of the box and Mic jack started failing after 11 months. This is a upate to another review I did. I thought it was kind of nice that Gigabyte contacted me after I did my last review and said they where getting me a rma #. Well saying and doing are 2 different things I guess. Finally broke down and got my own RMA and shipped it to gigabyte which nearly cost as much as the case.
Now they had the case a week before they actually told me they recieved and 3 weeks later they still have it. It is really hard for my PC to work when all the componets are sitting in a cardboard box. Gigabyte certainly isn't the company they use to be.
If you want a dependable case and a company that backs up their product you should look else where.
