Nice mouse but touchy. Nice feel to it. Really good cord on it too. Looks good. Moves with ease.
Really touchy. Just think of clicking and it clicks before you even touch the thing.
Some might like a really sensitive mouse but it is not for me. I am used to laying my finger on the button but this one I have to hover my finger over the thing and that gets tiring for my achy fingers.
Light, nice smooth surface, braided cabling, Avago sensor and high polling rates. Ambidextrous design
Pretty sharply sloped forward making "claw-users" potentially cramp. Software drivers causing problems. And good luck trying to contact and get a response/refund from customer service.
First, some background: I'm a L-handed mouse user, I use a more "claw" grip; my hands are medium to slightly large (I can just about palm a grippy full size basketball); this is being used on my PC running dual GTX 770 SLI, 16gb RAM. I do have my PC hooked up to a Synology server (which Steelseries stated in their FAQ that may cause problems with drivers).
My wife bought this from Steelseries direct for a Xmas gift. I had been using a Razer L-hand Deathadder that has seen better days. Off the bat, I really wanted to like the Sensei MLG. The mouse was of good size, the buttons were responsive. BUT right off the bat, the mouse drivers didn't work--it would not recognize the mouse, no matter what I tried. More research into this found that I had a potential problem with my Synology server program--this was a deal killer.
I tried using it anyhow, utilizing the basic Windows mouse drivers. It did work, but functionality was very limited with little adjustments possible. I did notice that, because I tend to grip "claw" style, whenever I'm playing FPS like BF4, my hand creeps forward and I have an exaggerated claw grip. Well, this causes some crampage--especially in my 4th and 5th digits, that are clinging to the side of the mouse. I just didn't get along with the shape of this mouse.
And the salt in the wound is their customer service. They promise 14d refund--and despite them saying they would, they have yet to email a RMA back, 2.5wks into it...TERRIBLE.... just look up BBB and all the customer service complaints, they aren't a good company to do business with, at least directly...
