Great package. Every thing you need to place a 2.5 drive in a desktop tower.

These thermal pads are the same as you would get with any NVMe enclosure. They are thermally stackable. I had a gap issue with a NVMe enclosure that I had purchased a while ago. The pad that came with the enclosure wasn't thick enough. The NVMe SSD. would get so hot I needed to open the enclosure to cool it down to complete the transfer. I found these pads on Newegg and for the price I figured I'd give it a try. The gap was so wide I had to stack 2 on top of the existing pad to make contact with the enclosures heat sink. I tried a similar sized transfer. No more issues with the NVMe getting too hot and the transfer went strait through. I'm glad I took a chance. Now I don't need to replace the enclosure. If you do find that you need to stack 2 or more thermal pad, make sure there are no air bubbles trapped between them.

It's got a ton of holes that match the holes on a 3.5" drive so you can use the side screws or bottom screws At $ 6.19 the price can't be beat New Egg shipping was wicked fast. I ordered on Saturday and received it Tuesday

I got one for my main computer which has Vista 64 on it. And had no O/S problems with it. I have bought at least eight of them to go in my windows Vista and windows XP 32.

a. easy to install b. fairly compact ( meaning its not too long like others) c. love it has a power button

I am making a media server / Game machine for the living room and needed plenty of HDD space for movies and games using Eclipse P500A DRGB with 8 4TB drives, 2 8TB Drives and 1NVMe for Boot. These Brackets fit well in the case and are easy to install and remove.

Got it half off for $40 on Black Friday 2018. No problems mounting my older SSD or my new Samsung 860 EVO in this. The outer shell is made out of pretty solid aluminum. The drive trays were easy to mount, yet lock securely into place. Each drive has its own individual power and data LED. Now I have slots for up to 6 more drives, giving my old case with too many 5.25" bays some new life :)

Built great, nice inside padding for drive, very strong n tuff protective storage box.

1) Easy to use and comes with all the hardware needed. 2) Durable feel to product line, as well as this single bay unit. >=== ICY DOCK ToughArmor as storage system ===> 1) Convenient drive transfer from computer to computer. 2) Ease of cloning drives and keeping them off system for back-up. 3) Works as a USB external drive enclosure using the: "OKGEAR OK108 2.5 inch SATA to USB 2.0 Adapter Cable w/2.5" HDD Protection Case" adapter product, offering portability, combined with ease system integration if one has the: "ICY DOCK ToughArmor MB994SP-4S Full Metal 4 x 2.5" SAS/SATA 6Gb/s SSD/HDD Hot Swap Mobile Rack Backplane Cage Module for 5.25" Bay (Fits 7, 9.5, 12.5, 15mm height drive) " unit installed in one's PC case.

Solid works as expected Bought on sale for $40

Fits perfectly comes with all hardware you could possibly need and a little extra Build with great materials

solid hold

I thought this is the only 12Gbps hot-swap hard drive module I could found. Built a file server and like to try SSD drives for maximizing data transfering speed. This module’s performance is pretty impressive for me! The 12Gbps mini-SAS HD is awesome!

Mount and screws. Nothing more needed.

Good Quality HD Case, perfect to protect your 2.5" external drives.

Key is optional. Latch on door provides enough security against accidental removal. Lack of drive carrier probably improves cooling. Simple, well made, no problems.

Works really well for fitting in the SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 500GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-75E500B/AM with an older DELL Optiplex box. Other converters don't allow the multiple positioning this one does.

* Its all METAL! * It has four 2.5" removable slots. * Its a SATA pass through design. * The two fans can be turned off, which is good since SSD really don't need cooling like a spindle HD requires. * One standard, four pin power plug! * The power and activity lights are perfect and unobtrusive. Admittedly, the activity light is dimmer than the power light, but both are usable for their intended purpose. * It actually fits just fine in the 5.25" slot. * The supplied screws worked fine in my old Lian-Li PC-60A II case. Not one installation issue.
