Great package. Every thing you need to place a 2.5 drive in a desktop tower.

very good metal construction & had all necessary screws fit perfectly in my Dell Optiflex plenty of space for air cooling 2.5" SSD got it in 2 days

NO, no zif connector but all my T******T*** zif connector bays eventually arent recognized reliably and currently live in the closet, these work consistantly, hotswap like a dream and I hotswap allot. If your having issues its likely the cable, port or drive, not the bay.

Fit perfectly in my HDD drawers, now i can hot swap SDD like my HDD

They fit in my P400S, which is not listed as compatible. Good quality Arrived undamaged Comes with screws

Solid feeling and seems well made. Tiny fan is remarkably quiet. Drive bays latch easily and are easy to load. 8, count 'em EIGHT drive bays!

* Although those on amz are critical on how to open these cases ; it only takes good wedging fingernails to open these case with very slight effort * I feel much better having my drives in these cases than to risk any other kind of damage without them * Its feels very sturdy compare to the Orico Hot Swap Case where amz reviewers complain about plastic and spring ; I picked this product to avoid such risk

I transfer large amounts of data (~10 GBs) between my home PC and my office PC. On each PC, I added one of these units, connected to a SATA III controller. I bought a SATA III SSD and installed it into one of the ICY DOCK trays. Now, I can pop the SSD into the PC at home, copy the data to it, pop it out, take it to my office, pop it into the PC in my office, and transfer the data. This is the fastest way I have found to transfer large amounts of data.

Solid works as expected Bought on sale for $40

Fits perfectly comes with all hardware you could possibly need and a little extra Build with great materials

solid hold

I thought this is the only 12Gbps hot-swap hard drive module I could found. Built a file server and like to try SSD drives for maximizing data transfering speed. This module’s performance is pretty impressive for me! The 12Gbps mini-SAS HD is awesome!

Very good construction. This item is made of steel and is heavy, not made of cheap plastic. The screw holes line up perfectly for the Samsung 850 Pro drives I have. Works in tower model (aluminum case) Mac Pros with 4 drive bays. Also works in HP z800 series workstations, at least my z800 (2010. 2011?). The drive plugs into the adapter built onto the unit which provides the interface that plugs into the computer. I did not use this in an application that uses cables: only in systems where you slide the adapter into a drive bay using a tray and lock it into place. Highly recommended for this type of application.

Good Quality HD Case, perfect to protect your 2.5" external drives.

does exactly what it says

Silverstone quality. Nice finish. Comes with screws. Holes line up perfectly with SSD and with the case drive bays.

I was immediately impressed with the solid construction of this unit. The drive cage and sleds are solid metal and don't feel cheap. It easily mounted in a 5.25" bay, but I couldn't use the tool-less mounting rails from my computer case because they interfered with the drive sleds. The unit does come with shallow screws that allow the cage to be securely mounted without affecting operation of the drive sleds. I put 9.5mm thick laptop drives in the sleds, and there's plenty of room for thicker drives. The sleds fit nicely and latch securely in place. The sleds don't lock, but my house isn't exactly a high security environment. This is a nice solution to get some extra storage in a case with limited drive bays.
