Program Overview

Whether you are an existing marketplace seller on Newegg, or a new partner looking to expand your online presence, Newegg welcomes you to apply to sell into China with us.

We qualify sellers based on knowing or learning about your business plans, together gauging true business potential.

Once your application is approved, integration onto our China shopping app and responsive site takes only one single seller account setup. If you are an existing seller, you simply need to update your shipping information and proceed to item price update and activation under your existing seller account.

In determining whether you’d like to ship products on your own, or opt into Shipped by Newegg service, keep in mind that the shipping cost to you is the same as a US domestic order, following Newegg’s standard Shipped by Newegg (SBN) rate card. If utilizing SBN, there are no storage fees for the first six months. Taking advantage of SBN reduces cross-border complexities and is cost effective because our existing fulfillment fee is up to 18% lower than common marketplace logistic service rates.

Newegg manages customer service and handles all returns on your behalf, in Chinese language.

Newegg Simplifies Fulfillment

Getting your products to customers promptly is an important part of creating a great buying experience.

You can ship products directly to customers using your preferred carriers, as long as you have the ability to ship the package internationally and deliver the order within the committed delivery time.

For orders shipped by seller, the seller is expected to have orders processed and shipped out with shipping tracking number(s) within 3 business days or sooner. The seller is also expected to choose a reputable international shipping carrier that can meet the shipping transit time committed to the customer’s purchase.

For orders shipped by seller, the seller is NOT required to ship orders DDP (Delivered Duty Paid).

You can utilize Newegg’s order fulfillment service that saves you time and money. Newegg picks, packs and ships the order straight to customers internationally on your behalf. Newegg also handles return and customer services for SBN orders.

In order to ensure the best possible customer experience, all ttHigo transactions will include localized customer support and return service provided by Newegg. By enabling your products for sale on ttHigo, you agree to the terms outlined within NEWEGG MARKETPLACE GLOBAL SELLING PROGRAM AGREEMENT, here. For items shipped by seller and shipped by Newegg, all customer support and return processing is managed by Newegg’s team in China or US.

For authorized returns, within 15 days from product receiving date, customers are offered an option to return product to Newegg local return center in China, or schedule a pick-up with Newegg’s local partnered carrier in China.

ttHigo offers customer service 7-days a week through phone support, live chat and email.

Who is eligible to participate in Newegg Global? How do I sign up?

ttHigo, ttHG.com is an invite-only platform within Newegg Global Marketplace. Once you enable China as an available country in your seller account’s shipping settings, your account will be reviewed and if approved to sell to China, you will receive an automated email message stating your account has been approved for ttHigo platform. Once you receive the approval, you can activate your listings for ttHigo.

What are my shipping options?

Shipped by Seller – You can ship products directly to customers with your preferred carrier, as long as you have the ability to ship the package internationally and deliver the order to the customer within the committed delivery time.

Any applicable import duty and tax should be charged to order recipient by the appropriate tax authorities directly.

Newegg is not responsible for any potential shipment delay, non-delivery, or order cancellation by customer as a result of any customs clearance process on the order shipment, seller should consult your carrier of choice before applying to sell on ttHigo, ttHG.com.

 

Shipped by Newegg (SBN) – You can utilize SBN, Newegg’s award winning order fulfillment service to save time and cost. Newegg picks, packs and ships the order straight to international customers on your behalf.

Newegg’s SBN rates are typically up to 18% lower compared to similar fulfillment services offered by other marketplaces, and we have not raised costs to our sellers since the program’s inception four years ago.

How are Import Duties and Taxes calculated and charged?

For orders shipped by Newegg, Newegg will estimate and charge the customer for any applicable import duty and tax at time of order checkout. With the in-house expertise and technologies, Newegg will always estimate import duty and tax according to the most applicable tax rate, ensuring an expedited customs clearance and the most economic overall landing cost for customers.

For orders shipped by seller, Newegg will provide the estimated import duty and tax during order checkout. Seller can setup the delivery type such as DDP or DDU in Seller Portal. Any applicable import duty and tax should be charged to order recipient by the appropriate tax authorities directly.

Newegg is not responsible for any potential shipment delay, non-delivery, or order cancellation by customer as a result of any customs clearance process on the order shipment, seller should consult your carrier of choice before applying to sell on ttHigo, ttHG.com.

If seller is the party shipping the order, seller is responsible for contacting the appropriate customs agency and notifying customers of any delays or changes to original order delivery schedule.

Are there any items that are prohibited from international shipping into China?

As a seller participating in Newegg Global selling program, you are required to comply with and are subject to all applicable laws and regulations of the origin countries of the products as well as the destination countries for the orders.

Since most of the international shipping carriers are utilizing dedicated air transportation or commercial airline for shipping goods internationally, commonly prohibited items for air transportation such as illegal or hazardous items are restricted. Certain restrictions are also placed on the size and weight of the items depending on the shipping methods and the carrier you choose.

Any item that is prohibited from being sold on Newegg Marketplace cannot be shipped internationally through Newegg Global. You can see the complete list here.

As a best practice, before you start shipping to China, you should research and ensure that you comply with all laws and importing regulations. In addition, check to make sure your product specification, including voltage and plug compatibility in electronics and appliances, for example, are suitable for usage in the intended country or at a minimum, have clear content specifying the exact product specification of what is being sold and shipped. Other considerations include varying sizes and standard measurements between countries when it comes to apparel, and home furnishing, as well as ingredients in cosmetics and beauty products.

How do I manage ttHigo returns and customer service?

In order to ensure the best possible customer experience, all ttHigo transactions will include local customer service and local return service provided by Newegg. By enabling your products for sale on ttHigo, the seller agrees to terms outlined within NEWEGG MARKETPLACE GLOBAL SELLING PROGRAM AGREEMENT, here. For items shipped by seller and shipped by Newegg, all customer service and return processing is managed by Newegg’s team in China or in the US in Chinese language.

Return service and customer service managed by Newegg is a value-added service provided at no additional cost to seller. RMA authorization and refund processing will be managed by Newegg, if a refund is extended to customer within 30-days of purchase, or 15 days from product receiving, whichever comes later, for an approved return reason and passing of our visual inspection, Newegg will post the refund amount and debit the amount to seller account. For the returned products, Newegg will transport them back to Newegg’s US warehouse and make them available for shipping back to seller or disposal according to the terms of Newegg Marketplace’s Return Services.
